I would like to swap thaefreehub body on my Neutrons from Campy to Shimano. The body is held by the counter-clockwise 17mm nut, and the wheel axle is 17mm in diameter.
What is the correct part number for the Shimano compatible body?

Check out the Campy website. In the documentation section they have spare parts and tech manuals dating back about 20 years. You should be able to find it there.

Can't seem to find the relevant data for older Neutrons...

Depends on the year of the Neutrons.

Steel 11s shimano body that fits on any year-FH-BUU015x1

Aluminum FH body for shimano 11s that fits onto lobed axles..2007 and later-FH-BO015x1

Let know if you're thinking of selling the Campy hub body. I'm looking at a pair of Neutrons for sale locally that have a Shimano hub and I run Campy. Was going to just deal with the compatibility and tune the derailleur, but if I can swap and be full Campy that would be more ideal.

There are also three HG 8/9/10 freehubs. WH-KX1 and WH-KX2 for the older OS hubs, and WH-KX890 for the later ones. I'm guessing WH-KX1 (and Wh-KX890?) is aluminum and WH-KX2 is steel. Maybe Peter can clarify.

Eurus would have been Record level hubs. Is the FHB aluminum or steel?

I would trade you straight across. I have a couple sets of campy neutrons and have recently gone shimano on one of my bikes. LMK if you are interested.

If 10s only, shimano, had to be steel..the 11s one became aluminum and axle specific. BUT there is still a steel one(dark color), 11s shimano and all axle compatible.

Peter, there are two part numbers for HG freehubs circa 2004. WH-KX1 is described as "Record type", WH-KX2 as "Chorus type". What's the difference?

Record had a titanium pawl carrier, Chorus/Centaur-steel. The FHB that split(hence the change in 2006) were almost entirely Record/titanium pawl carrier. Both/either could be used on any OS/aluminum axle rear hubwhether hub or wheel
