Holy Fahk.
Sorry, I have absolutely no empathy for the guy. Basically doped his dogs so they could run hurt.
Guy needs to be eaten by his own dogs.

The musher is asserting that someone else doped his dogs to sabotage him. It’s certainly possible. Apparently the guy is consistently a top finisher, and the 20 top teams always are tested post-competition. I’m not sure it would make sense for him to dope his dogs if they almost certainly would be tested. It's very unlikely that he’d dope with Tramadol within the day of the finish (remains in bloodstream for 15 hours according to article).

In my mind, if dogs are being doped, the whole sport should go away. It’s one thing for a human competitor to decide to ingest PEDs. It’s completerly another to adminster them to animals. I think that horse racing should go away too. Too many horses are doped, and too many die or get seriously injured on the track.

At this point, consistently winning anything against-all-odds is more likely successfully cheating.
