Anyone tried Galibier clothing? See link for jacket that I am considering and also a vest.

For the price this looks to be very good quality and well made. Looks like they are in the UK but they ship reasonably to the US.

Any experience with their clothing?

Thanks,

Alan

None, but their gloves look great. Ordered to try them out...

They obviously don't make their own stuff. Before I gave them my money, I would at least ask them where their clothing is made. Personally, after reading their "about Galibier" page, I'm a little suspect. But that's me.

Nowhere near as expensive as I am dedicated.

At that price, why not give it a try. Aldi and one of its competitors sell inexpensive cycling kit in Europe. I understand they sell out within a day because it's very good value.

I thought this thread was about what clothing to wear if you're going to climb the Galibier.

I tried one of the Lidl jerseys when they had them at my local store. Material was fine, but it didn't fit me particularly well, and the zipper while full length got all bunched up as soon as I leaned over. It not high end clothing, but for $20 if you don't expect much you probably won't be disappointed.
