I've looked about and couldn't really find any answer so I'll throw it out here again. I attached a photo below of my SR 11 speed front shifter. As you can see there's a pretty significant gap from the brake lever to the shifter paddle. Anyone know how to fix this? I haven't run shifter the cable up yet though the brake lever is hooked up and I took it on/off a few times it didn't seem to be in any way the culprit and I'm baffled beyond that..

Any help will be appreciated, it'd drive me a little crazy leaving it as is.

older models if so push silver button in
and you might have adjusted brake cable length with quick release engaged and also need to readjust that too

Quick and easy! Didn't even pay any mind to the silver button there. Did the trick, thanks!

The brake lever is in the open position.
