I have SR cups installed for a white label, Ultra Torque, standard crank. Can i use the cups for a Chorus compact crank of the same vintage? What about the new 4-arm?
I've never installed or taken this stuff apart...
TIA!

They are the same for all UT but the SR don’t have the seals that you really need for all other groups - non ceramic bearings.

UltraTorque cups are cross compatible with any UltraTorque crankset, 2007 thru today BUT..black/SR, no seals AND 3 generations of non SR cups, silver, goldish and greenish..the last gen has tighter tolerances for the bearings and wear less, make less noise. Easy to take apart..10mm allen, lefty loosey unless the spindle is titanium(SR)..then left threaded.
