Hey all--

Several years ago, someone posted the particulars of a high-rep leg press workout as part of an off-season lifting regimen. I used it as a pre-ski workout with good results. Anyhoo, can't remember the particulars of the sets/repetitions... something like 60-50-40-30-20-10-12-24-36-48-60 with appropriate weight for the reps. Anybody? Thanks

Sounds like something Ti Designs would have come up with.

I used this workout, but not recently. Excellent workout with fairly quick gains in strength and endurance. Start with 50 reps with a weigh that you can handle, I used between 90lbs and 135lbs to start. Each following series drop the rep count by eight, and raise the weight by 25lbs, or more. Continue until you reach 10 reps and max weight, then reverse it. Increase the reps by 10, decrease the weight 25lbs each series. Once you’re comfortable you can up the weight added per series, and do a complete 2nd cycle, maybe even a third!
