Nickel Hydride battery question

If it has a burn time of about 3 and a half hours and I ride about two hours every time and put it on the charger every time, am I teaching it to burn two hours?

I haven't experimented to see but do these batteries get a memory?

They do suffer from memory effect but not as bad as NiCd batteries, and, depending on design, this may not be signficant. Also, remember that they naturally lose their ability to hold a charge the more times you use them. This also depends on design, but if you've been through 500 or so cycles, don't expect it to be as fresh as day one.
