I have seen a picture of a front rack with a cargo area that's an oversized square of sorts and that has wooden slats for its "floor."
Is anyone familiar with that thing and if so can I get a name and/or a place to buy it?
Thank you.

Do I get the cookie? (Is this the rack you're looking for?)
Try Joseph Ahearne or Sacha White:

These are in the ballpark but the one I saw had lower side rails (less of a basket) and wasn't custom. It had a really odd name.
Hmmmm......

Oooo is that gluten free?
Thanks. Sharing hobby specific useless knowledge will get me somewhere someday.
What I think is funny is that the Paul Flatbed is specified as requring a rigid fork and the top image (unless I'm totally crackers...which could be. I don't have my reading glasses on) shows a suspension fork.

So it does. http://www.paulcomp.com/fbcrop.jpg

But once you attach the rack (at least as shown in the picture) it BECOMES a rigid fork, so they get it by definition. A damn flexy rigid fork, but it isn't gonna move up or down much until it breaks the rack attachment.
