Hi all,
I've used the search function, but couldn't find an answer. I'm hoping that someone can tell me if the sizing between Giro's mountain bike shoes and their road shoes is the same? I have a pair of Giro road shoes that fit great, and am looking to get a pair of their MTB shoes, but just want to figure out if I should order the same size. I know this seems like a silly question, but I've encountered variations in same-brand sizing before.
Thanks!

My experience is that the mountain shoes fit slightly smaller than the road shoes, toe box is a little shorter. 48 road shoes fit me great but I'm moving to 49 in mountain.

For me, they fit about the same. 42.5 in both, rode mountain ones today and road ones yesterday.

I'm a 42.5 too.
Thanks for the replies!

Same here. I ride a 46.5 Giro road and a 47 Giro mountain.

I use the same size Giro in both disciplines, size 42, Factor and Privateer.

45 in empire, vr90, terradura, code, and factor. I like giro shoes and the 45 fits me perfectly in all the styles I've tried.

My road and MTB Giro shoes are the same size, and the MTB are definitely a little tight. I had the road first, then bought MTB assuming they'd fit same. If I had to do it again I'd buy MTB 1/2 size bigger.

Same here. Road shoes fine, mtb in same size tighter.
