So, who was there? I got spanked. Hard. And not the good kind. My first race ever -- very exciting, infectious, overwhelming -- I'll be back.

As soon as the soreness and memory of the pain fades. :bike:

i/we were there. i was pleased with my first-of-the-season
race and i didn't fall or biff. considering my fitness, no
complaints. the hysbrian and noah looked real good and
were showing the signs of a long road season only just
finished a week earlier. our amy won the elite women's
event handily, besting what looked like 2 dozen starters
in that field. bring it on baby atmo.

I met Amy at the Cycle-Smart clinic the day before, tho she was doing drills with a more advanced group than me.

Amy's bike was unfrigginbelievable, BTW.

Short guy in a blue and yellow kit on a silver Kona. I think I said "hi" to you in the parking lot -- at least it was a guy in your full kit working on one of your bikes, but he/you were busy so I left it at that.

I'm missing Sucker Brook because my son has a ride that day. I'm very bummed as I hear it's a blast (and relatively flat). I may do Milford and will definitely do either Coonamessett or Pittsfield the next week. I'll set aside some twizzlers...
