Great color and I'm looking for a nice Colnago but not sure I could do a sloping frame....... ?

That is beautiful! I'd buy it just for kicks if it would fit the wife or I! Trying to think of someone I know who I can push it on...

As an aside...it looks like you've run your EPS with different wheels. Did you find one set that seemed to bring out the best in the frame? I ask because I have an EPS too and I'm trying to decide on a build for it. Nice to know it fits bigger tires. GLWS!

Trust me, I would love to buy this but a bike would have to go and right now I am just really happy with everything I have

Hmm. That's an interesting question. The Zipp 303s are stupid fast and versatile race wheels, so they're great for go-fast days. The Shimano c24s are also versatile and quite light, and maybe a better choice for expedition days where clinchers are helpful.

If I had my druthers, I'd have a mid-depth carbon tubular set and something lower depth. Best of both?

And yes, I've put 32mm file treads on the c24 wheels and they fit!

Thanks! It's funny, 303 tubs and c24s are two wheels at the top of my list.;)

Here's a bump for a great frame someone should grab.

Dammit...my size and a great price, especially with that paint!
Would you trade for an original watercolor by yours truly?

HA!

GLWS!

If your real name is Mark Rothko, yes I would.

I'll sign whatever name you want at the bottom!

Great frameset at a good price. I have one, same size in the Zabel/Milram blue.

I have Zipp 202's on mine. I like them better than the 303's. Lighter, great for climbing with a little bit of aero profile.

I have an 09 EPS. Great bike! This is a ridiculous deal, especially with the custom paint. Baffled as to why this hasn't sold.

I don't need this, but I really want it. But then I would want to buy that ETap groupset, then Ryun's LW Gipfelstrum's, then I would be sleeping on the couch for the foreseeable future. Would it be worth it? :)

Short answer: yes.
I know, right!

Every time this bubbles up on the listing, I click and look, admire the paint, remind myself that I always swore I would pick up another Colnago at some point, fantasize about doing the back-to-back comparison I always wanted to do (Look 585 v Colnago ~C50 variant), remember that the 54s should fit me like a glove...

Then I remember that I have no cash for bike projects at present...

Speaking from experience, the Look 585 is a heck of a nice bike. Top 20 for me.

The Colnago EPS is more of a full-in race bike (and has more tire clearance)...whether that's good or bad depends on the person.
