On my Moots Vamoots I have a mish mash of Ultegra with 6600 shifters. The bike has 10 speed DT Swiss wheels that I like. I want to move the mish mash Ultegra parts to another, less worthy frame. Ideally, I would put Shimano 105 11 speed or Campy Centaur 10 speed (with the red accents) on the frame. What would play well with my Shimano 10 wheels? Or should I find 5700 group (I like the all black and the post 6600 shape of the shifter) and keep things easy?

I'm sure you could swap out the FHB on the DT hub for C10, but sticking to 5700 is probably going to be the most cost effective option - unless you find someone here that has the freehub you need and wants to trade.

Get a DT 11s shimano FH body and end cap..then use the supplied 1.85mm spacer and shimano 10s cogset.

I've done 4-5 of them now. (so if anyone needs a 10sp DT Swiss FH body...)

I understand it is possible to use a new M8000 11/34T 11-speed cassette with a 9/10 speed freehub. I haven't tried this myself yet, but I'm interested. No idea whether that gear range works for you, but given it is a Vamoots I would think maybe not.

I simply use a hand file and file down the existing 9/10-speed hub body 'stops' till an 11-speed hub fits on it. Works like a charm.
