Can anyone provide me with some info on French Fender Day 2017?
I know it is October 7 in Lyme CT. but beyond that I can't seem to find anything on it.
Is there a ride involved or just a gathering?
Thanks!

It's the place to be if you enjoy that style of bikes. It's a lot of the CR folks and yes there usually are a couple of ride options, followed by lunch.

But of course the bikes and the people take center stage. I have always found it to be a great way to spend a Fall day...

If you have to ask if you can bring a carbon bike for the ride, you probably wouldn't enjoy it

FFD is a great event for geeking out on rando bikes of that style. Well attended by enthusiasts. Once had a nice chat with Hubert of Cd'A and Brian Chapman there. I recall there being a casual ride and a very casual ride...neither were more than a couple hours. Pretty roads around Lyme. The main course is checking out the bikes. Riding is the dessert.

I would love to see some of those bikes and meet some of those folks in person.
