Here is a moving video about Marinoni's hour record attempt. The person in the video is Jocelyn Lovell who has since passed away.
This really hits me as I first met Jocelyn when I was only about 14 or 15 and he was the biggest superstar in the world to me then.

Whereabouts was that? He sold his framebuilding company to Mike Mulholland of Cyclops fame after his accident.

in south etobicoke near royal york rd. and the QEW.
Mike M. kept the business in the same location when he took over.

Mike M. kept the business in the same location when he took over.Yup...Mike M. was another terrific guy. He was the club president of the 1st cycling club I joined when I waa a kid.

I think Mike M. was the last SCC president before the club folded in the mid 80's.

No...he left and started a different club before then. The club went on for a few years before the Donut Ride accident and lawsuit finished off the club.
