So...looking for a new go to all around rim. A couple of questions about the DT R460: color; is it really black? Decals; can they be stripped? Thanks.

only knock, pinned and not welded at the seam
other than that, a great values that builds well. far better than the velocity A23

Perhaps the early, just moved to US, versions of A23 but not really true of the many A23 I have built this year. Both very good rims with A23 rear being OC also. Imho, of course but I've built about a dozen of each this year and 'far better', don't agree with that.

Well...QBP must be sitting on a pile of them, then
I would put the A23s I've encountered in the last year in the same quality category as a old stans rim - before the Mark 3. Out of curiosity I will go direct next time and see if there is a difference
Perhaps the early, just moved to US, versions of A23 but not really true of the many A23 I have built this year. Both very good rims with A23 rear being OC also. Imho, of course but I've built about a dozen of each this year and 'far better', don't agree with that.

Get mine direct so don't know...
