Hi all,

Whaddya think about these gizmos? Work, not work? Put massage therapists out of business? Or a waste of time and money?

Anyway, the one that gets the top recommendation from a ton of sites is this one: https://www.padousa.com/pure-wave-cm7-body-facial-massager/

And these 2 look interesting, but the price goes way up: https://theragun.ca and
https://timtam.tech

Thoughts, suggestions, opinions and flames always welcome.

Thank you all in advance,

Steve

Put massage therapists out of business? Not even close. Looks OK to me for very limited use, but essentially, I view it as basically a kind of parlor trick....

I'm more of a mechanical kinda guy. The Stick (https://www.thestick.com). I use the marathon version because I'm very lean. I feel it works quite well at isolating and relieving muscle aches post workout. I've been trying to be more consistent with dynamic stretching before workouts, and I know folks use the stick prior to workouts, but I haven't tried that consistently yet.

I have a Panasonic bent wand vibrator (let's call a spade a spade) that helps quite a bit with minor tightness in my neck/shoulder area. Its head is a disc 1' thick and about 4" in diameter. I'm sure it cost less than $50.
I'm 74 and have arthritis in my neck and residual problems from my crash/surgery in my scapula and clavicle. It's not deep tissue work but it does loosen muscle tension.
