All my gears work great....except 17 and 19. It's a Chorus 10v cassette, so they are attached.

I have another 11/23 cassette in my desk that was given to me by a friend....so probably different wear than how I use my gears. Am I asking for shifting trouble by just replacing the 17/19 teeth from my desk? Or I won't know until I try?

It's probably worth trying. I think it may require a new chain since the old one may have "adapted" to your worn cogs. I'd guess it will work provided the 17-19 you swap in has similar wear to the cogs on the cassette you want to use.

17 and 19 skip under load? New chain? Probably be ok to swap just 17/19 from another cogset, different ratio and ramps.
