Decided to do a faster group ride today.

Saw a dude on a Cannondale with cookie water bottles. Rode up + next to him. It's Phil.

Internal dialogue:
"That's pretty rad!"
"That lady has an awesome paintjob."
"Wow! I'm not weirded out by this group. Everyone knows how to handle their bikes."
"Oh cool we're going pretty fast"
"Why'd Phil just smile?"
"How'd he just get so far ahead?"
"Am I going backwards?"
"Ohhhh."

Well, that was a fun few miles.
Then I climbed Piuma.



Next week I'll bring cookies to slow him down.

I shared a shuttle with Dave Zabriskie after the Crusher in Utah a few weeks ago. I didn't see him until he departed the bus. I was starstruck for a moment.
