On friday I was filing up the tubes I had just finished brazing onto the seatstays (to make fluted caps) on my own cross frame when a guy comes walking into the shop with a cross bike wanting it tuned up for the upcoming season.
Anyway, talking to him/being almost done with my new frame got me pretty stoked about cross this season.
I know there are lots out there who live for cross, this one's for you...

I need to get off my duff and have have ergott build me up some new wheels. Then the glue process begins. I'm thinking the new Tufo Flexus 32.

I was thinking about the new Tufo Flexus as well but ended up going with Challenge Grifos (32). I hope that I made the right decision.

Hopefully you won't need snow tires for this year's Gloucester weekend.
Columbus Day should make it comfy and fun.

I'm doing the best I can to go watch a race or two this year.

Me too! All this cross talk is making me so jealous!! All right, that's it - I'm going to start saving for a cross bike for next year's season.
