The way I read it I have to be using Strava on phone while riding rather than using a Garmin device. Am I wrong?

not available in NY anyways.

some questionable things too as, you won't get a penny if the device is 2 years old or more. As long as the device still works, then they won't reimburse you (dents, scratches, ect).

and also, yeah this is only for strava phone it seems because it says you have to be logged into the platform.

too bad because I do have premium.

DC rainmaker has a blog post about it. Lots of info on the fine print, etc.

After reading the DC post it seems like more of a gimmick than an actual worthwhile benefit.

This is how i see it, if you alrrady have premium, its great sonce you are payig the same and even if this is a gimmick, changes nothing to you.
If you are not a premium member, this is not going to make you sign up for it because it really is not that good of a perk.
