Have a hodge podge of frame and parts and need to combine them.
I like my old non-tapered frame and my through axle front wheel.
Can anyone think of a company that makes a 29" suspension fork with a 1 1/8" straight steerer and through axle?
thanks

Check out the X-Fusion line. Looks like Slide RL2 or Trace RL2 meet those specs. Here's one I found on the webs...

Thanks guys, your google fu is better than mine.

Apparently, some REBAs can do this also.

Thanks!

Late to the thread, but as you had already mentioned, some of the "older" Rockshox Reba forks came with 1-1/8" straight steerer. Had one on my old 29er.

Fox Float 32s came in straight steerer flavors too. I've got one on my Retrotec and a friend has one on his Ritchey P29er.

Current model Fox float 32 come in straight steer and thru axle with a rake a 44. They ride extremely nice if you were believe the reviews. My friend has one and I have taken the bike for a spin and I agree with the reviews. The Fox rides better than the older (older than 2016) Rockshox SID.

It rides effin' great. It's an "older" unit (and by older, I mean 2013/14) so it utilizes a coil negative spring as opposed to the air spring on more recent forks. If you're looking for a fork with around 100mm travel with a straight steerer, I'd definitely consider one of these over a Reba. I had a Reba on my old GT Zaskar, and while it was fine, getting onto a "real" fork was an eye opener. The Reba rode like a pogo stick, regardless of pressure settings and had a lot of seal stiction.

Fox does apparently do their current entry level fork in a straight steerer, but it looks like it's only 26" with 9mm QR dropouts.

Cool. I didn't realize you could still get one. I used the "fork builder" on their site. It should have the more modern 100% negative air spring in it too.

It'll probably cost you $550+ for a current/new fox fork.

If you can live with used/older, I picked up an older fox Float 32 for $300 with the Kashima and CTD a couple years ago on eBay. Probably available even cheaper now. Especially if you can live without the Factory Kashima coat on the uppers. You'll just have to be patient with the straight steerer option.

I inherited a broken Reba to go along with the broken SIR9 I inherited. I don't recall if it was TA or QR tho

I have an MRP Loop now, and recently sold a bike with a Loop SL. Great forks. Recommend em highly

Rides great and fox will still build a new one to order. Running this on my IF Deluxe when not running the Niner Carbon ....
