Really cool looking Tarmac frame I saw recently at an LBS in Savannah, GA (Perry Rubber Bike Shop--really nice crew there). Dunno if this is their "S-Build" custom paint option thing. Either way, pretty unique.

That's actually an Allez Sprint. They made 300(i think) for the Red Hook crits.

Actually, it's an aluminum Allez Sprint and it can be yours for only $1,200.

Ahhh, gotcha. Savvy crowd!

I just assumed it was a Venge or Tarmac or something.

Really neat paint job.

edit: just went to Spec. website and saw this one:

Sweet looking fork & paint combo!

One thing I'm confused about: Aren't all Red Hook Crit bikes fixed gear? Why dedicate a geared bike to an all FG event?

That's a good question ^

Because it'll sell units. People are going nuts for the Allez Sprint limited paint jobs.

That and they are really good riding bikes.

It's funny I've never thought to ask anyone how they ride. I see them at races all the time and they look awesome.

Exactly. There's more than a few people trying to profiteer off this limited frameset, and heard that only 150 of the 300 total actually made it to the US.

On a riding note everyone who's gotten this has loved it albeit with the caveat that it's definitely a race bike with the super stiffness and oversized seatpost.

I don't mind the idea of the paint job, I just think it is poorly executed.
