Someone mentioned Robert Millars book in another thread about best bike related books.
I thought this was interesting.

Surprised this wasn't discussed earlier, but I'm glad she finally feels comfortable enough to come out on her own terms. I don't claim to understand it all but it must be hard to live like that for decades while trying to maintain a private life. I look forward to the continued insightful commentary....this change shouldn't affect that.

Her columns are always appointment reading for me in Rouleur.

I hope she's found happiness.

My oldest is dating someone who is trying to transition. She(the girlfriend) just graduated high school and her parents aren't super approving or supportive. So she waited till after graduation to do so. Basically the summer will be her coming out if you will.

I don't care. My bro in law is gay and married. I kind of joked I wished my daughter was gay so I didn't have to worry about boys and all. I am fine with whatever my oldest chooses. I'm super liberal that way.

Glad Phillipa is happy now. That's all that matters in the world is personal happiness.

Yep 100% agree....I meant I dont understand how it all works genetically, but I'm glad she has found peace and hopefully can live a great life instead of hiding from nosy media.
