I got hungry seeing the pix in the report on the Ottrot ride. Since the tarte flambee was mentioned as being a big hit with the gang I'd like to recommend the frozen onion tart at Trader Joe's as a worthwhile alternative that is in a Fierte price range.

Oh Jeez, now you're going to get Frank Beshear all excited too. I rode past the pier yesterday but the cafe doesn't open until 11:30 and it was only 11am. I had to settle for an In n' Out burger and fries---yummy training meal.

they do indeed and some dandy wines as well---the best part is they are about 1/4 mile from my door.
