My riding buddies always give me grief about my maturity level and riding. For some reaosn I have always felt like a kid when I am on a bike. Not riding foolishly, but young at heart I guess. Kind of like that freedom feeling I got when I took off on my first Huffy as a kid!
But...it doesn't stop there. I have always named my bikes, I do not know why, but in my extended family growing up my god parents always named their cars. So I think it seaped into my head and I have always done it.
I have a student who does the samething and it got me to thinking I bet there are those of you out there (if you admit it) that personify your bikes.
So what do you or have you named your noble steeds?
Me well I have a specialized stumpjumper anniversary that I call "Annie" for obvious reasons and a Cannondale 6-13 I call Dale for other obvious reasons.
