Considering a couple of hacks for my levers and a battery mount.
Thought I'd just put a post here to see what others have done for some inspiration.

Wish this stuff was more widely available than just the (slightly) inflated prices on Amazon.ca

Campagnolo 11 speed lever body to bar transitions.
The sudden drop on the outer edge was putting pressure on my palm. Tried them this weekend and they work well.

Next I think I'll try some DIY Slipstreamz.

SRAM makes a set of gel pads shaped a lot like that for one of their sets of shifters.

Don't remember which, but I've cut up a pair for some of my bars

Tried Sugru for a number of fixes and just don't find it to be a really good long-term solution.

I can't imagine its adhesive properties will respond well to the elements out on the bike, so please be careful how you choose to use it.

That's just my personal experience though.

Tho only use I've personally found for Sugru is fixing the charging cable for my iPhone.

Let us know how your faux-Slipstreamz work. I've been looking for a wind-noise suppression solution and haven't been impressed with what's in the market.

This is a great idea. I HATE the way Campy levers are just chopped off there.
