the size of the 7+will most likely be the limiting factor here. All of the quad lock mounts i've seen for iPhone are for indoor use only, is that a factor?

If it were me I would go with Garmin out front mount for the 510 and then a top cap mount for the 7+ and use the stem as a backboard for your phone to rest on.

QL now makes this but it does not put the phone too far out front.

It can be flipped but then the phone is above the garmin

I used a quad lock with an iPhone 5. LOVE IT!!! It was so nice. I used to run it right in the center of the stem. I had headlights on it at times the didn't interfere. But then again, i was running a 5. Much smaller. You might be able to rig something up. They need to think of some other mounts tho. Ones that mount to a PRO bar/stem with the screw mounts under it. Or some other mounts like K-Edge. But the quad lock is super solid and very well made.

I have a garmin 500 mounted on a barfly out-front mount. I have a quadlock stem mount for my phone, an iphone 6, but generally only use that when riding indoors. I did take the quadlock stem mount with me when on a trip this winter so I could mount the phone on the stem of a rental bike and use ridewithGPS for directions.

I agree with kppolich. I wouldn't put a big 7+ out front. I'd use the stem mount and go with the Garmin out front.

I have both out front and stem mounts if you want some measurements but I have a 5S and no Garmin.
