View Full Version : Campy brake bolt?

I might've stripped this washer thing that holds the throughbolt holding the rear brake to the frame. Is this a specialized part or something that can be had at Home Dept or something, or best to see if the LBS has the part? (Campagnolo rear brake)

Go to the lbs and ask them for one that might be longer... what you want is or the same size or longer. They must have thousands of them in the bolts jar....

Why u want that longer? because you can cut it with a dremel, if the bolt is tad thicker just dremel it to fit, pretty much you have to fix it so it fits. No the bike wont explode and nobody will even notice (in case you need to have everything perfect).

And no, doesnt need to be campagnolo, the thread pitch is the same for all of the other brands.

But I might add that some believe that Campagnolo nuts have the superior Italian threading (I kid) and are available online for reasonable $'s.
