A bunch of obtuse-wannabes lined up for the national time trial title, and here is what happened:
Elite Men - 42.7km
1 Leif Hoste (Discovery Channel) 54.51
2 Bert Roesems 0.36
3 Marc Wauters 2.22
4 Nico Sijmens 2.29
5 Steven Thys 2.34
6 Peter Ronsse 3.06
7 Tom Stubbe 3.16

now, as a geek fan, i was juiced to see jacob pill get 5th at plouay. that guy was all effed up at the start of the year...good to see he got healthy and is on form again. watch out for him if there is a headwind at paris-tours.
