Anyone have any go-to inexpensive sunglasses they prefer? I'm looking for a spare pair to leave in my wife's car. <$40

Tifosi on E bay sometimes less than that.

Second on Tifosi. I've got some uber shades, but often go to one of my favorites, the Dolomites. Easily found for $35-$50.

Sunskis are pretty cheap pairs for polarized, Knockaround are cheaper still and seem intended for this purpose

I third Tifosi. Got a pair for $35 last year and have been great. Very happy with mine.

I always keep an extra pair of Sunskis in my shoulder sling for fly fishing. Surprisingly decent for the $$.

rule is: more they cost, more likely to lose/destroy

Those look like my American Optics Original Pilots. Great glasses but they are HEAVY.

I strongly prefer polarized. Suncloud are my current favorite, with lots of choices for frames and styles. $35-$50 depending where you find them.

I just buy cheap sunglasses at Performance etc... I always lose them or they get scratched or damaged anyway so don't see a point in spending too much.

I have little complaints about their 25-35 dollar sale cycling shades.

Some LBS have some cheap models too.

I picked up some inexpensive sunglasses from Lowes believe it or not a few years ago. They have a number of models that aren't terrible and they're safety rated.

I've also got a pair of the $20.00 Nashbar sunglasses that my son's now "aquired" that are surprisingly good.

If you want to go really inexpensive Sams Club has 5 packs of safety glasses for something like $12.00-15.00 that are shield style.

I like my Tifosi Hagens, ~$30 online. First pair of sport sunglasses I've owned that look good on or off the bike.

I have one pair of issue ones left. I wish I could find replacements for $50, every pair I see on amazon is at least $150.

The Explorer may be made here, but it's still a copycat. C'mon Ford, come up with some original ideas.
