I have been using Shimano L02A resin disc brake pads on my 805 caliper gravel bike. I like them, but have now almost run out of pad and used my 4 backup pairs. All places are back ordered and have been for months.

Anyone have comments on the metallic L04? I am now seeing a L02C option through Shimano but not yet at stores. Anyone know what this is? Replacement for L02A? Still resin? improved? How long are these backordered and why?

There are other pads that will fit that just don't have the integrated cooling fins. K02Ti is a resin pad with titanium backing plate, K02S has a steel backing plate. SwissStop makes some in the EXOtherm line that have fins.

According to what I just saw, 6/23 is the restock date.

I think I might have a set(4) of these. I can let you know if a bit if you want.
