The Shimano RS685 hydro brake (mechanical shift) levers have been out for a few years now. And Dura-Ace version (R9120) just came out this year, with what looks like a nicer/smaller hood. Is there any expected upgrade to the RS685 levers on the horizon?

Ultegra 8000 has a hydro/mechanical lever. Who knows when it will be available. From what I can tell, 8000 is flat mount across the board.

There's a D/A version too that's not available either, but will presumably be sooner than the Ultegra stuff

I've heard, and I realize this could be wrong, that some of the new DA disc stuff is actually shipping to manufacturers. As I cannot afford a bike company, I am just going to have to wait.
