Which tires for my Moots...

Leaning towards the Vittoria Corsa 25c in the tan sidewalls...any recommendations of tan sidewall tires? I feel like this would look good on the Moots I just picked up.

I like veloflex master 25 in tanwall. I ride the vittoria corsas as well, but prefer the veloflex. They just feel faster to me...even though they are not supposed to be either as fast or as puncture resistant. I ask about rims because they did not seat well on my enve carbon rims where vittoria do.

I have had a lot of luck with the Michelin Endurance Pro 4 grey. I also really like the look of the Continental Grand Prix Classics which are a dark skinwall. The michelins measure wider than advertised and the Contis measure narrower.

Even though I'm all for corsas, I'd also throw in Gravel Kings into the mix as well. Although they're more brownwall than tanwall...

I prefer my compass and veloflex tires to the corsa g+. The G+ are still great tires and I have a pair I use for rainy days.

your quite the comedian beatnik,hopefully all those tires are in landfill somewhere so they wont beat the crap out anyone ever again.not even the silky smooth vamoots can over tires that horrible

25mm pro4's (on a23's) are about the limit of my 07' vamoots will fit.my corsa g's are 28's and wont fit the alpha q or between the chainstays of the vamoots.they fit on my PX RSL though.and they are superb

Big fan of Moots and nice rig but those tires look like fat white walls on a modern car...look..IMHO, of course..maybe the lighting but I think darker side wall tires would look better.

I had a lot of puncture problems with the Masters. Plus once the sidewalls got dirty, they grossed me out from riding that particular bike. :(

I have had lots of punctures with the corsa g´s. Much better luck with older vittoria sc which probably remain my favorite tire if one takes looks into account (and why shouldn't we :-) )

And yeah moots look good with tann walls! This photo is taken at one of my happiest bike-moments in life. Still remember beeing so good damn thrilled about finally having a moots (in the right size as the first one i bought was too small, i was not happy bout that!) Hope you experience something similar with yours!
