Ti fasteners for critical components are not an optimal solution. Stainless steal for a few more grams provides a much wider safety margin.

Folks confuse the fact that while it's lighter, and strength to weight is higher, it's not as strong as Steel. You are not saving enough weight to make a huge difference and the stainless fasteners are good for corrosion resistance.

The best quality SS fasteners are nearly as strong as Ti, weigh almost the same, are much more gentle on critical parts when being tightened and cost much less.

SS is stronger than Ti.
