Hi all,

This was stolen from my backyard in LA late last night/early this morning on June 2. I have not been having great luck recently keeping track of my stuff.

Specs:

Serotta Rapid Tour, stock geometry, 56 cm, 1999.
Shimano 105 with Campagnolo Athena Ultra torque crank
King stainless cages
Tubus titanium rear rack
Nitto Cockpit (stem, seatpost, Nitto M106NAS bars)
Hed Belgium 28x28 DT240 hubs, Compass 28c tires
Specialized saddle
Titanium tIgr lock (the ultimate irony -- didn't use the lock so the new owner gets a free awesome lock).

It's a pretty rare bike and this particular frame is all over the internet in pics and well loved by two or three previous forumites, so hopefully we have some success. Can anybody chime in with the serial number?

Goes without saying, but this community is amazing. Thank you all for teaching me so much and for all your support and advice.

My 1996-97 vintage CSI is EXACTLY the same color with the same titanium outline decals. When I had mine redone by Serotta in 2008 I had it painted exactly the same again,, with the same decals. I really really love that color.

I hate it for ya.

Post it on bike index and report the serial # to local PD and bike index.

Good luck finding it, you know we (the forum) have CL and ebay covered.

A Paceliner messaged me after it happened and sold me his '97 Rapid Tour that was sitting in his basement. I just built it up yesterday and went on my first ride today. Still tweaking things and I'll post pics when it's fully finished, but it rides and fits just as I remembered.

Happy ending thanks to the Paceline, but no way I'm keeping this one in my yard.
