Assos T.Neopro S7?

Ribble has these for about 100 bucks a pair.

i need to get a few new pairs of bibs this year as some of mine are getting to the point where it's best to pitch them

i own a few pairs of assos bibs, but never ones this inexpensive.

are these OK? feedback?

They're ok. They just feel cheap (for Assos).

I love them. I have 3 pairs. Good medium-thick chamois. Cut low in front. The Assos site says they are being discontinued, so I think that explains the steep price reductions.

Equipe used to be around $140 for a while, this would have been my recommendation. However prices are hovering about $20-30 more, which is significantly more than the $100 price line. I haven't used the neopro.

Have these and the Mille 5 or something like that. Prefer the 7 neo (sorry, don't speaka da Assos very well -- their nomenclature baffles [and escapes] me).

cant really say much about durability yet,but had 1 pair with 10 or so rides in them and am super happy with them so far.the assos store had a big sale ($89 a pair shipped) last month and I got 3 more pairs.have paid much more for far less quality bibshorts in the past.
as to the comment that they feel cheap I don't really see that.i have 1 pair of the campionissimo 's and 1 pair of the equipes and they feel like the good same quality.a little thinner material than the last generation I guess.

I like the Equipe S7, which seem to be very similar. They have worn very quickly at the rear saddle edge, wearing through on one pair out of the two I have in rotation in a matter of months, but for the $140 I paid have been worth the price.

IMO the Neopros are very good for the money. Nice material, good workmanship, great pad.

Other than the sizing, I like them fine too.

I'm wearing a large equipe and a medium neopro. Not sure if that is because the neopro is larger, or just stretchier or the equipe is the reverse (more compressive?) Bike clothing sizing in general is baffling, so consider it a sample of 1.

I have a pair that I use and wash a lot. Over a year and a half later and they are still as good as new. Love them.

T.Cento for around $215, really good price, just ordered another pair. I have the T.Cento and the Campionissimo, both are excellent. I have a couple of pairs of the S5 Mille's that have been relegated to foul weather trainer duty, still nice, but not as nice as the S7's. Been toying with trying the Q36.5, but if it ain't broke...
