Well, it's taken a long time to finally attain the goal we all have been wishing for--and for so long! . . . I was wandering with my camera at the Saturday night dinner at the FL Ramble, and suddenly--there HE was! And complete with MRS. Jerk, too! alas, she was not wearing the infamous metal pants, but I was sure that an opportunity like this would come along no more than once in a cycling lifetime. So, throwing caution to the winds, I pounced!

And now you, loyal forumites, can share in my thrill of the stalking and the photographic kill!

Here--at LAST!--in all his self-righteous, menacing, sneering, my-stem-is-longer-than-yours glory, is . . .

i wondered who the guy was in the stooges shirt that showed up to eat but didn't ride. i though it was some visiting krishnas. didn't seem like a big stooges crowd. then again it didn't seem like a big tattoo crowd. then again nobody cared what you looked like or listened too...as long as you were into bikes or with someone who was into bikes you were ok....ps---tooo tall really is too tall. i think he has a big shoe though....dave

Pin-stripped pants...? Oh, he must've just been visiting with his corporate banking colleages in NY. But he doesn't look too well, though; rather discomposed? Must've been the beer. Dr. D must've had fine high quality beer at chez D's.

Uhhh, he won't tell you, but that middle next to our Senor Obtuse guy is...Batman. He rides a Serotta and is impervious to pain on long stretches of steep rollers. I know, I rode next to him. Plus, I have his Tar Heels hat and he ain't gettin it back. No way, no how. But there's a substitute hat with a sunflower on it in the box with his windbreaker heading back to Carolina today. Batman apparently lives in Carolina. 'Bet ya'll didn't know that.

No, we do not know such a person, but we need to get Prince Douglas down to the Carolinas to hunt for hills.

I will have to get Phil to get a NC State hat for him.......seems no one really wants a NC State hat......except Phil (his wife even went to Carolina)
