Isn't that dangerous? I thought those were like plutonium, too much in a confined space and you get an explosion...

Oh my. Gonna have to change my shorts now.

Looks like a gathering of "pegorettis and espressos"

A collection of the worst paintjobs put on the nicest built bikes around.

I don't see the allure.

Cool gathering though.

I hear they are for participants only, it seems. And yes, i may have seen a certain torch- and brushwielding jazz addict somewhere. He didn't attend the ride though, which was a bummer.

I love those photos. I dont like each pegoretti paintjob infact i probably like few but all together like that.. compare these images of pegs to a random photo with 30 riders and their bikes, no contest, this is colorful and wonderful!!

If you find a Pegoretti Luigino ugly then you are sick in the head and there is no cure.
I believe it´s contagious. Good luck.

Uh-oh.

I think peg has the whole spectrum. Some of the paint jobs are atrocious imo, some are very nice. Definitely not for everyone, kind of like landshark (which I like more than pegs (the crazy paint jobs that is)).

Surprisingly, I like loud color paint jobs and Landsharks. I cant do the Peg's though. Might as well have sHram on it. Not diggin it.

whether or not one likes Pegos paintjobs is between oneself and his/her conscience. Undeniable, though, he adds variety. Imagine the same picture with bikes from the current S-Works palette. Or, in the undying words of B.Simpson: "booooring..." :)

This is awesome! I have to say I prefer most of the stock paint jobs, but the ciavete schemes can also be pleasing to the eye. As far as the way they ride a pegoretti is hard to beat.

Yes, those jerseys are just for participants, sadly.

I would love to get over for the event one year.

Wow! Would love to just get a chance to ride one of those Pegs in my size sometime. A Duende in a 60cm? Yes, please.

nothing spectacular. Just the feeling you get when riding a bike that is just right in every aspect. Plus the paintjob, of course :)

^ What exactly is the event? This is something that Dario's shop sponsors every year?

Those Italians...they know howta live.

A Respo Ciavete got figuratively lost in the what amounted to a simultaneous change of residence & change of life back in Summer 2014. But as in all things Dario entangled with a life long addiction to Italian bici - Just when I thought I was out... they pull me back in. Meeting Dario in NAHBS-Charlotte 2014, where did the time go? I go back in to get, or get in the queue as it were, a custom Respo Ciavete then that puts me at four bikes in our apartment; which I can do but don't wanna do.

Can't get away from these demons...it's like falling off the wagon.

Love the guy and his bikes, but those paint jobs and jerseys are something else entirely.

I have the jersey from two years ago and not a ride goes by in which some other cyclist does not comments on it positively. At the Pegoraduno this year there were people from North America, Asia and Europe.

As far as paint jobs go, I readily admit that there are some that are not my style, but at the same time the paint job he did for me is beyond what I had ever hoped for. The sole instructions I gave him were to use a white base and make it sunny and joyous. He came up with something unique that makes me happy every time I ride. What more can you ask for?

Hi there! Pictures are referred to the 2017 edition (the seventh) of the Pego-raduno. We were about 80 people and almost 40 cyclists and bikes....from Italy, Malaysia, Taiwan, Uk, Us, Austria and Slovenia....we enjoyed as usual wonderful rides, food and wine (especially Prosecco).
Dario, Pietro and GianMaria were there with us....Dario, with the aid of Giorgio Andretta (Giordana Cycling) realized a custom cycling kit just for the participants of the raduno.

More pictures, if you don't mind, will follow.
