Yes!!! I will definitely be picking these up. I've had the 28 slicks and the 35sk versions...great tire at a great price. Too bad I just ordered some Soma 38 slicks for probably twice the price.

Can anyone compare these with Gatorskins?

Well, for starters. Gatorskins ride like a frozen hose. These do not. I am currently on 32's and love them.

The 32's ride well on gravel or pavement. It's a good combo between price point, durability and ride quality imo. A definite bang for the buck. I've got my order in so whenever they arrive a report will follow

I think Panaracer also makes Compass for Jan Heine and Soma for Merry Sales. That's a lot of great tires coming out of one factory.

And, Compass also just came out with a new, tubeless version of its Barlow Pass at 38mm. These two appear to be quite similar. Should be interesting.

I'm currently riding the 35mm SK's and absolutely love 'em. Running tubeless on a set of Reynolds wheels they measure about 37.5 mm. But I'm not seeing the 38mm slicks on Panaracer's website.

Where were these new tires announced? Tubeless ready? Are they available for sale yet?

They're not listed on Q yet (or weren't yesterday) so idk yeah I love the sk's as well. They better be tubeless or they'll end up in the fat tire thread!!!

Except I imagine the Compass version will be 2-3x the cost of the GravelKings?

This has been beaten like the dead horse it is, but they are not the same tires.

A 32mm GravelKing retails for $46 while the base Compass 700x32 is $57. The Extra Light version is $76. It's up to the individual rider to decide whether the difference in casing and tread is right for/worth it to them. Horses for courses and all that.

I have the 38mm SK, and they roll really nicely. I expect these slicks to be great tires. I'm thinking about having a 700cx 38mm disc randonneur, so this should work well for that.

Good idea. So 50-584 with fenders or 27.5x2.25 can all be made to fit.

and there is that place that are selling them at $30 so makes the decision even hard. I have not ridden my GK 32 yet but I really like compass tires so we will see what is up. Wish the 32 was tubeless

agree^ im 182 and run 40f 45r

I called a contact number and it turns out its a matter of inventory.. I thought it was a typo and they meant only the sk in 38's ...from what I was told the 38 slicks are a real thing just selling out faster than they can stock them.. which you would think someone on here would surely have a hookup to get their mitts on a set.. idk cmon panaracer lets get this going!

got a 240 mi gravel race this weekend, the 35 sk's pulling duty. love them

Sold out where? I have yet to see them anywhere even with a big sign that says "out of stock". But nice work going straight to the source.

Using 32mm T-Servs on the touring bike, wondering how they compare to the 32mm Gravel-Kings, comments anyone?

The GravelKings that I've tried punch well above their weight. I use the 28 and 32 slicks. Good stuff from Panaracer.
