My CAAD10 came with a wheel that is a Powertap Elite+ laced 32H x3 into what the seller said is a Kinlin rim, no decals. I don't have other parts except for a Powertap wrench. I don't need this wheel and when a new one is built up will want to move the Powertap along. What other items would someone need to make this wheel functional? Is this a completely obsolete device or still useful to someone?
Thanks

All they really need would be that tool to remove the sensor from the hub. With that they can change battery, and update firmware.

And does this unit communicate wirelessly to a variety of devices that can read and display the information? I don't see a place for wires so this is my guess :)

"+" means ANT+ wireless. There were two models. The older model had 12mm axles, while the newer ones had 15mm axles. If you sell it, you should pair it up with an ANT+ head unit and make sure it's putting out realistic power. If it needs repair or calibration it's worth a lot less.

Thanks! Can this hub talk to an iPad or iPhone or does it need something like a Garmin? Sorry for such basic questions, I can't seem to find one place via web search that puts the taxonomy all together.

Garmin or any other device that reads ant +

The iPad or iPhone would need an ANT+ adapter.
