Help me decide...C60

I inquired about help on the V1-R but a gentlemen posted pictures of members C60'..I couldn't stop looking at them and with the Moots that I was interested in falling through due to sketchy circumstances, I want a C60...

I want your opinion on what frame color scheme. I am in love with the matte carbon tubes and glossy lugs. I am deciding between:

PLBK
PLRD

I will be building it up with either Super Record 11 or Record 11 in mechanical because I love it! I enjoy the look of the red but it's almost too bright and flashy for me...but I like the idea of being seen better. Thanks ahead of time! :)

That's kind of how I'm feeling..also it's not too much red and if it is, I can always go with a black labeled Enve seatpost instead of the red! I just don't want it to be overdone you know?

I am getting a wonderful deal on it and that is one color that is not in stock currently. Plus I wanna stay away from the storm trooper look! I need some color :D

I loved your post, the bike looks great! One of the reasons why I want to get one actually. Does it have a blue hint to the gray? Red is my favorite color but I absolutely love the matte tubes!

I never thought of a hint of blue in the color, but I guess pewter probably does contain a trace of it.

Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the C60's color codes.

I have been eyeing a painted lugged C60 as well. I am partial to the PBLK black and the PLAN gray. I was told that the PLAN color is actually the most popular of the painted lug frames. It is subtle enough but still not just another black bike. I love the look of the red but just too bold for my tastes.

PLBK is my choice. I found that the old Ritchey WCS gloss black stem and post matched well because the world champion rainbow stripes matched the Colnago headtube decal.

I have a PLAN still in the box waiting to be built. And it just so happens that I have a friend's PBLK here at the house too. It needed a couple adjustments that I took care of.

At last year's Interbike, the PLRD was not shown. I believe it was developed for the Abu Dhabi team. I thought the PLAN was a good combination--conservative with just a little color. I dunno all those random color codes, but I really like the blue lugged one. Someone just posted theirs in the gallery and its probably one of my favorite C60s.

If narrowed down to PL - red, black or anthracite and like red but concerned whether the red lugs are too loud, would opt for the black or anthracite and just accent with red tape or other parts.

I think if you are getting a Colnago get some colour! I miss the gaudy airbrushed designs. I have a C59 in TSCV but really wish I'd have paid the up-charge for the arabesque.

The white pops though! Talk about bright. The bright blue is very loud!

That's fun! The part of the red that I think would go well with is the Campy red accents on their parts. Some of the Colnago designs are very LOUD! Lol

I would LOVE to get on the C60 bandwagon. I just dont have the $$$ flow. The are amazing, and cant go wrong with any of the colors.

The various "MH" color options are really nice when viewed in person than any photos seen on the web. The MHWH is a far from a stormtrooper appearance. The white pearlescent paint /black airbrush fade w/ subtle gold accents is goregeous and elegant.

Stormtrooper would be like my RSWH but easy enough to minimize the blizzard look with a few black parts and wheels :D
