been on the kurve chameleon so far and i find it comfortable enough. but i've never ridden a noisier saddle. on slow grinding climbs the thing is creaking like crazy and is also audible pretty much anytime i'm really pushing on it. same post with the spec phenom (or any previous saddle for that matter) presented no problems. ideas, experiences?
is there some magic to shushing this thing?

fwiw, it's this rail here. some type of metal wrapped in some type of fabric.
and yes, it's clamped on well.

I found the same thing when I had my Kurve... never did find a way to quiet it...

The creaking on my Kurve wasn't the rails. Its the body itself flexing.

Maybe swap the soft tab for the hard and the increased stiffness will quiet it up. But I moved on from it before fiddling with it much.

You know the saddle in the picture has been replaced with a newer one. The silver carbon cracks around the edges of the cut-out, the new ones are yellow...

You can remove the entire rail system and put on some grease on all points that contact the saddle body. This should keep it quite. If it is the tape that covers the rails, remove it. It is cosmetic. The rails are cast Al and the tape does not not provide any protection or increased friction.

My Kurve (older version) mounted on a Fizik post creaks up a storm.
