A different spring classic

Washington DC is known for its cherry blossoms, which blossom in the spring. There is a 5K loop in a park along the river, Hains Point, where there are many beautiful cherry trees. Bonus, they are not the most famous set of cherry trees, so it is less crowded.

Thanks for the post! My daughter is down there for a few years for grad school, and rides the point on her black and purple Giant for staying in shape for the occasional crit or whatever. I didn't get to see the loop when i was down there last month, but heard all about it. Your daughter is off and rolling!
