View Full Version : Look HeadFit system on a 585

I'm trying to figure out if my Look Ultra 585 has the HeadFit system on it. When I bought this here on the PL, it was listed as a 2009 frameset and my searching on the Internet has left me a little confused as to which headset is on there. Unfortunately, the bike is at my mom's house at the moment and can't look it right now.

Did the 585 ever have the HeadFit system? I'm almost certain that my headset does not look like this one...

Thought Headfit was a 586 and some 595 thing...

I'm 94% sure that I helped a friend build a 585 Optimum that had Headfit.

I read earlier (can't find it now) that many of the models starting in 2009, including the 585, went to the HeadFit system. I knew this was on the 586 and 595, but didn't think this was used on the 585. However, it seems like the 585 Optimum may indeed have used this headset.

Thread on Weight Weenies says 2009 went to Headfit. I'm almost sure that I saw this on someone's part description, but it is not on Hawley...

The newer 585 ultra (black, red and white color) is headfit.
