I love the TB14 as an all around, nice looking, wide&low profile rim. I'd have loved to find some NOS mavic/campy rims, but whoa $$$.
So I had decals printed up for some Faux-classico fun...
These will get laced to some bling hubs:
Mavic MR601
Record OS Silver
Record Black

meh.
i'm personally not a fan of fake branding items. H+Son rims have a good following and stand on their own.

Who'd ya get to print those? I need some graphics for a project of mine.
(It is NOT making my Camry pretend to be a BMW. That's pathetic.)
TB14s are great rims. A rose by any other name?

I have a trio or 'more or less' NOS (as in lightly used, but not 'ridden' much) Campag Omega XL clinchers I could be talked out of. 32h
Waited YEARS for these guys and finally found a set. ...then didn't have a classic bike to put em on. That was also about the time I went 11sp.

As any wheelbuilder will tell you, TB14s are far superior to any 15 to 25 year old sub 400g rim.

I agree, but they're NOT classic rims. If you HAVE to have em for that build, well... Nothing compares to the original rims.

You'll probably be even less excited when I tell you the Campy hubs will get a Shimano11 FHB and Ultegra cassette.

Decals came from www.wanit.co.uk. Loads of fake branding opportunities to make your friends Angry...

This. The TB-14 is great. Faking is fine if you are making a movie and need to look period correct.

Oh, if I had seen this guy when I was repainting my LeMond and desparately wanted a new HT badge....

I think that's great actually, and the decals came out nice  Agree with the OP that it is about having fun, not attempting to pull the wool over anyone's eyes. Different ball of wax than badge engineering on cars IMO.
