I need this part for my 9000 rear derailleur: Y5XX98020 - basically the little cap that goes over the c ring "axle cap" came off, but appears only in this assembly. Little luck finding.

any ideas?

Did you give Shimano NA a call?

SJS Cycles online. They are out of Britain. Cost is about $10 USD.

I've always had good luck ordering Shimano small parts through my LBS. I just give them the part number and usually have the part within a week.

If your LBS has an account (some don't) and Shimano NA has it, it's pretty easy to get small parts. Your LBS can even just call and ask for help if they don't know the obscure bit you're looking for (like the one model only FH body that makes 7700 into 11sp)
