I've got a pretty good imagination, but am not sure just where this product fits into the world of cycling. Really big wheels? Gigantic chainrings? If anybody here needs such a thing, here's your PSA. (http://www.planetcyclery.com/bike-components/drivetrain/cassettes/10-speed-cassettes/photo-miche-pignoni-10sp-18-28-cassette) But, please tell me what it's going on.

Juniors use limited gearing and that cog fits the bill, is not that you cant have an 11 y/o using 53x11 but is not like super healthy for the kid you know. In some of the countries Ive been kids 13/14 y/o use 18 as the smallest cog.. actually they use like 50x18 and the suckers roll that thing close to 33 km/h believe it or not.

53x15 is close to the USAC Junior limit, depending on wheel circumference.

I thought maybe juniors racing, but they're usually on 14 tooth cogs.

Hillclimbs?

Maybe perfect for one of those 36er bikes.
