I've got both a 2002 and a 2005 Record 10 speed right side shifter that I'd like to overhaul. What I'm wondering is whether the spring carrier and the bushing for the 2002 are compatible with the 2005, and if I could just buy the same parts for both shifters. Would anyone happen to know?

The Campagnolo part number for the right spring carrier for the 2002 is EC-RE111 and the bushing is EC-RE057 as shown here:

The Campagnolo part number for the right spring carrier for the 2005 is EC-RE065 and includes the springs. The bushing is EC-RE157:

'Ultras' spring carrier is a fiber/carbon/resin thing..the other is metal. The metal one splits and/or post breaks..Both can be used in either lever. I replace all metal broken ones with the resin ones..and I have them as well..$15 for the carrier.

The fiber spring carrier comes with a different 'bushing'..one w/o a notch..

Thanks very much for responding to this. In my frantic searching yesterday I ended up finding them for $3.15 on Amazon sold by Niagara Cycle Works, so I couldn't refuse that deal and snatched them up.

I'm guessing it's probably a metal one. Would you happen to know when they came out with the resin ones taking the bushing without the notch? The drawings from 2002 and 2005 show the bushings with the notch, so I'm just curious.
