Look like David won't be bending it for England any time soon ...

I guess more of a question for MallyG et al, but it seems like Beckham is a bit of a scapegoat here. Based on performances in Germany, Lampard, Rooney, Owen etc. should all be dropped imo. Who played up to potential in the tournament for England?

Joe "only their mothers can tell them apart" Cole was brilliant in the first game. Stephen Gerrard put in a fine performance all tournament. And yeah,
"Midfield Spice" seems a scapegoat. But ah well, it's just a friendly against Greece, isn't it?
