Managed to get most of my NAHBS pix edited and posted on flickr:
https://flic.kr/s/aHskW6cWTU

I ran outta time for a few of my fave builders, a whole slew of Cherubims, and some one-shot builders. Check back over the next few days for the remainder.

Enjoy!

Very nice - thanks for sharing.

I like the idea of having the historical examples as part of the show - I didn't know that they had done that this year.

I want the Don Walker trike. I remember once getting to ride a racing trike back in the '70s when I worked at the LBS. What a blast that was!

Thanks, great photos! I love the red Ritchey and Playboy Weigle. The Don Walker racing trike is pretty cool.

This makes me think about taking the bus to Hartford for next year's show.

thanks for the pics. i don't think there's any number of bikes that i could own where i still wouldn't want another...

what's the story with the old(?) j.p. weigle? gorgeous.

and the red cherubim, is that a built in seat post?

The Weigle was built to be featured in a Playboy magazine "Best of" issue. It's been kinda legendary as the Playboy Weigle or the Playboy Bike.

All three Cherubims were Racer models, fillet-brazed, and all three had optional integrated seat masts. The seatpost head piece tightens inside the tube with an expansion cone, like an older quill stem, and there's maybe 15mm of spacers for height adjustment.

Thank you for sharing the pictures.

Potts, Della Santa and certainly Curt Goodrich for me.

A lot of nice stuff there. I will be going next year as I have not been since Denver.

pcb pal, no pressure, I am ready for "Part 2" :D

pcb

Part 2 just uploaded, with the following builders added to the album:

Chris Bishop: two fillet-brazed frames @ painters' booths, Velo Colour and Black Magic Paint
Dave Kirk: Terraplane & Road Best in Show; Gothic Fillet frame pix need lots more work---white balance all wonky
Dave Wages/Ellis: just one road frame @ Velo Colour, but pretty

DiNucci, Cherubim and the stragglers remain.

The trike would be a blast, for sure... but candidly, I've always been puzzled by the rest of Mr. Walker's stuff, though. To my eye, he's aesthetically from an era that isn't holding up well as we move forward.
